As Abby is showing you, this is our Day 1. We are still in Florence, KY at the Hyatt. The movers took 7 hours to load our things, so we decided to get a good night sleep before we venture out.
First milestone was in St. Louis, MO. I want everyone to keep in mind that I was driving while I was taking these pictures.
After spending the night in MO about an hour outside of Kansas City, it was time to hit the road again. Jim was driving his car with Abby and I was in my car with the 2 dogs. I'm not sure who was luckier. I missed the sign that we were entering Kansas, so I took a picture of the Topeka and Wichita sign. I tried to take a picture of the Kansas City Royal stadium, but traffic kept on getting in the way.
I'm sure you are all thinking to yourself what is this a picture of. That is exactly my point. After you leave Kansas City, this is all you see for a very long time!

Looks like an exciting trip. Especially with 2 dogs!! I'm kind of scared that your doing photography and driving at the same time!

I've made the drive to Colorado from KC and the picture you took of "nothing" is exactly what it's like. UGH!!! Glad you finally made it there though. Good to see some pictures. Keep it up! :)
Driving, taking pics and talking on the phone! That takes talent! So glad you had a safe trip! (FYI... she did hang up the phone before taking the photo.)
